Optimal vs Reference Ranges

Thyroid Values - see chart
Fasting Glucose - reference range less than 100, optimal range target 76-85
Hemoglobin A1C - reference range less than 5.7, optimal range target less than 5.4%
****Triglycerides - reference range ⬇️150, optimal range ⬇️100 → research is really strong here that values less than 100 decrease heart disease and diabetes risk significantly.
Iron Panel - particularly Ferritin, reference range ⬆️30, research suggest ⬆️50 or even ⬆️100 may be more ideal.
Homocysteine - 0-20, optimal range 4-7
CRP 0-1, Males may benefit from a tighter goal range such as 0-0.55
Vitamin D ⬆️30, optimal target range 50-90
I didn’t just make these numbers up! I follow Dr. Weatherby at optimal DX. I use Rupa Health which provides a great deal of research on each marker here: www.rupahealth.com/optimal-ranges As well as other functional medicine sources such as the institute of functional medicine.
The goal of getting my clients (and myself!) as close to the optimal ranges as possible is decreased risk of future disease and optimal health and wellness now. Falling in between the optimal and conventional ranges allows us to implement lifestyle, mindset, nutrition and supplement work to avoid progression outside the conventional ranges (where you would then likely need medication) and help you feel better now.

Would putting food on a disposable foil sheet and cook it, air frying or baking make the food cook unevenly? If not, then perhaps less cleaning since we can just throw away the foil after cooking? I am interested in purchasing one when it is on sale at Costco. Thank you.
So you can do that, but technically you won't get the air flow that makes the food so ultra crispy.

thats what i trying to do with my 2-basket Ninga airfryer such i love , BUT just like that is coded , actually is one higher abit bigger model an this for $220 in amazon sale right now, i have choice now, but at least u should cooked something & show how's is works, is NOT the price is right show lol & plus U NEVER used that hard wire brush to clean them, most of them is flimsy delegate unit is not a outdoor grill , is gonna damage it very easy after while, just soak it in warm soapy water for while and clean it off with sponge all come of easy & the drip tray always rapped the aluminum foil in it
So the body can create calories out of nothing. Running is the worst form of cardio when it comes to maintaining muscle. Also muscle is what keeps your body burning calories so the less muscle you have the lower your calories will have to be.
hello! so i am around 13 and i weigh 56kg and 5’3, i will be honest i am fat. my double chin is out and my belly is always so loose, this has taken a HUGE effect on my physical activity and my overall strength. i want to know what i should do to lose weight! i want to wear clothes i get scared of wearing!! i don’t want to hear something like “your perfect just the way you are” i want the truth. pls help me on this matter! ♥️

I believe you. I was tracking everything & lifting weight hard & the scale did not move, I was hungry all the damn time. I switch to a professional trainer & he gave increased my calories I was working just as hard as before & dropping 2-3 lb per week ! & before any of you comment; yes I weighted everything & counted every damn calorie so I know for a fact if you eat too little you won’t lose body fat at all ! ❤
Did you cook it on those paper towels? I’ve seen people using glass bowls and water in the microwave?

You weren’t actually eating 1200 calories and or moving as much as you say you were then. Your body doesn’t just magically turn a 100 calorie snack into 1000 calories and magically hold onto fat. I hate when people dont actually stick to the exact calories then say they cant loose weight

I’m confused, the inside of that specific air fryer still has a NON stainless steel interior even though it looks like stainless steel so unfortunately it still is toxic when heated up???
Where do you see that info? I believe the inside is still stainless steel - there appears to be controversy about the pans it comes with. Some commenters seem to think the pans are coated stainless steel but not 100% stainless steel making them more challenging to clean because you may fear rubbing off the stainless steel coating.
@@HungryHobby no, it’s the inside of the air fryer, that specific one contains a chemical called CFA one of the only air fryers that I have found that is true stainless steel is that really skinny wide ninja air fryer one however unfortunately I’m just not a big fan of the open door style. It’s definitely a hard transition to go from a basket air fryer to one of the ones like you purchased, but either way, most of them look like they’re stainless steel inside, but they are still sprayed with a nonstick coating like the exact one that you got and unfortunately people think because you’re putting a stainless steel basket inside that it’s safe when unfortunately it’s still not. It’s sad, this whole world is hard to be healthy anymore, as soon as you think you’re doing something right there’s two or three things that say you’re not. Honestly personally I give up, but just wanted you to know either way.

Lol me eating 1200 calories with 150grams protien just doing wieght training gaming muscle and loosing fat 2.2 to 4 grams protien per kg is must so your bmr will not slow and protien needed for thyroid function
Well it depends on what you are eating. Not eating enough protein will impact weight loss. Another thing to consider is that people lie to themselves and are not aware of how much they over eat.
I wanna tell you guys one thing. If you are doing a 1200 cal diet, and ONLY doing cardio, you won’t see the results that fast. However, if you combine your 1200 cal diet with WEIGHT TRAINING, you will see the results faster. I already lost 2.5 lbs in my first week. The other key is to know when and how your body begins to break down what you consume. If you are eating later in the day, and eating as soon as you wake up, and you generally have an early morning routine, you are in fact breaking your fasting and cutting that process short. This is when intermittent fasting would be beneficial. You do NOT have to eat less, just less often. Follow a 16:8 rule. End your final meal around like 5-6. Go to bed around 8:30 or 9 pm. Wake up, drink coffee, chug some water, go to the GYM AND LIFT WEIGHT (it helps with fat burning and tones the muscles underneath) and finish your workout with 10 minutes on the stair master and then 10 minutes speed walking on the treadmill (if you hate running like I do). When you get home, drink water, and around 10 or 11, start your first meal. 8 hours from the point where you start your meal, that’s your window to eat. Count your calories. Keep them in the 1200 cal range. End your 8 hour eating window with your finale meal. And repeat. I hope this helps. Again, I’ve lost 2 lbs. 🤍 (I know all bodies are not the same. Just hope this helps someone! You don’t have to do the fasting 16:8 plan if you don’t want. I just whole heartedly recommend if anything, you end your meals earlier so your body can start fasting earlier throughout the night till morning so it can immediately start breaking down those fats. Ps: when you weigh yourself, do it in the mornings AFTER you’ve used the bathroom. That’s your real weight. Weighing yourself after you’ve consumed all day is going to play tricks on your mind.
I just bought this model so I skimmed the written directions. You stated that the dual cook allowed us to cook on two different levels. No. Dual Cook means that you can change temperature while cooking. If I'm wrong feel free to let me know.
I think you are right just saying it differently! You can cook two modes setting one to start and then the other to start. So you could Toast and then air fry. Or bake and then air fry. Etc.
